Table Tennis experience for Rm 6

Dinyar who works at the table tennis New Zealand came to room 6 yesterday to teach us table tennis skills. It was so much fun. He also took selfies with room 6.

He even taught us how to balance the tiny ball on the bat which was really tricky. He taught us how to bounce the ball and also we had a balancing challenge. Sulia and Grace were the champions in our class. I hope he comes back again.

Revealing my feelings through Art

This term I drew my own self portrait. I had to draw my own face which was pretty hard to do . But thanks to Mrs. Yumul's help, I managed to finish my self portrait. It was so hard to  draw the mouth, nose, eyes, hair  and my face. I wish I had made it look more like me because it doesn't really look like me .

A few days later we had to draw 'feeling' lines. We had to use a white crayon and draw lines about how we feel when Mrs Agnew called them out. I liked drawing the gentle soft lines. I had to dye the paper with blue dye and all the lines were bright. When I was dyeing I made sure I was gentle so I didn't get it on my white t- shirt. I wish I could do some more dyeing because it was so much fun to do. 

In writing time I wrote blurbs about how I acted when I felt something. One of them was when is "when I feel tired, I go around in circles" and another one is "when I feel nervous, I get butterflies."

Hi. My name is Porsche and I am 8 years old. I have  one brother and one sister and I live with my mum and dad in Point England.  I go to St Patrick’s School  and I’m in Room 6.  I like Room 6 because I have the best teacher ever and she makes us learn hard stuff. I like doing Maths and writing and my teacher says I am very good at reading. My favorite animal is a puppy because they are so cute to look at and I wish I could have one as a pet. 

Visit to my dads uncle

In the holidays I went to see my dads uncle, I was very excited. When we got to the house I saw my cousins and I played with them outside. 

When we were finished playing we had lunch, it was very yummy. After that I had to go back home, I said goodbye to my cousins and my dads uncle, this is a time I would never forget.

All About Me

My name is  Porsche and I am 7 years old. I live with my mum and dad. I like to run.  When I grow up I would like to be a teacher. When I was in lock down I watched a lot of Tv and I did some singing.
